When I first began my build I had questions on placement of the body on the frame. I enlisted opinions of many of those that have built bats on the site. All
were trying to be helpful but for future builders I would like to pass on a tip and proper body on frame placement. I have learned this the hard way.
First when placing the body on the frame do so with a small air filter on the carb and then place a one inch high item on top of the air cleaner. This way when

snaps. So I ask how stiff or beefed up should I go without having other problems?

and some fiberglass cloth and resign allow you to attach them to the bat. The inside fits to the frame as they do from the factory. Works great and saves a lot
of time making them from scratch.
