Was hoping to get some driving in this weekend....looks like today is shot due to a stalled cold front holding warm humid air and showers over Florida. Hopefully it passes and I can get a Sunday drive and get some photos which are LONG overdue. I'm not sure if it's me getting older or there are less woman out there lately but I hope to get some pics to post here soon !

Hey DJ,
I'm not anywhere near Tampa.....I'm on the east coast between Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. But dont worry, I plan to take some new pictures soon. The car is looking good, running good, and it's time again to get it back to Starbucks and the beaches........probably not as much driving as when I first got it.......but a lot more than it has been driven this past hot wet summer.

Steve, Are you saying that it's new babes in bikini's season!!!! I love this time of the year. any estimated date on when bikini season opens up? Hey, are you near tampa? If you are maybe we could get Bubba to get the Doll house girls with your car. Looking forward to this years new pic's D.J.

It was a nice Sunday......I got the Bat out for a drive , and afterward installed a new Battery.......my bat is going on 4 years this coming Jan, so I thought it was time to replace the old with new. Most batteries around here only last 3 years or so in the engine compartment of daily drivers......I thought it was a good idea to replace mine , even though it is located in a cooler spot...

That does look wierd to have the snow on the ground and the leaves still green !! Great photo ! Lets hope it's not a sign of things to come up there.....no-one needs a brutally cold winter !

I was hoping to drive yesterday Sunday, but again it was so darn hot. I did an early morning bike ride of about 16 miles and then went right into the pool to cool down . I think we have cooler weather heading down here at the end of this week,,,,,,,,,by cooler I mean about mid 80's...

Hey guys,
Yep, it's been a long hot summer, so I havent been driving as much as in past summers. When I first got the car I would drive everyday I could.....in the hot weather I would get home clothes soaked in sweat, now I dont really want to do that . I've been doing morning bike rides, trying to keep in better shape since retiring, and pollute less. .....the 75 Lincoln is not what you could call a "green car " LOL.
I did have an event scheduled a couple...

Just got back last night from Calif, and the first look at my car since July. Nothing beats the sight of getting picked up at the Airport in a chauffer ( Mark )driven Batmobile....even the traffic cop pulled out his cell phone to snap pics ! We tossed my bag in the back, strapped in, and drove off to get some lunch.

I see how tough it will be to get parking. Not that there are no spaces available, there were plenty, but you just cant leave a BatCar parked out of view...
