Were I the lucky owner of my own Batmobile, no I wouldn't use it for profit. Wholly unethical as well as against the whole premise of the show and Adam's characterisation. But bottom line guys...Dan's right. That's just the way big business gets it's way. In fact...that's how they got to be big business.

I'm no first hand witness but ALL OF IT sounds like a huge load to me. Same with all the other WB fright stories over the years.

Big companies with big lawyers don't need to sneak around and somehow have dozens of FBI & SWAT members at the ready when they need them for crying out loud.

"Big coporate money justice" just sends you papers and notices and then fights you in court until you go broke and then they get your stuff.

I don't know what is fact and what is fiction regarding Mr. Perillo's situation, Joey. The story goes that a WB rep happened to see a stretched 89 Bat and followed it into Andy's shop, called authorities, and suddenly federal marshalls appeared from the shadows and seized 89 cars in various stages of construction, 89 molds, and Andy's 66 car. One of Andy's customers is supposed to have arrived with a machine gun and shot it at (or around) the federal marshals so he could...

It would be great to get the entire story from Mr. Perillo. I've heard from second and third hand sources all kinds of wild things (including an 89 customer firing a machine gun at/towards Federal Marshalls!?).

Just shadows Andy Prillo told me that the police came to his shop and ceized his cars Batombiles after rec. many letters he got them back after getting George Barris in on the deal..and now work close with wb and dc and he was the one that had a list of 30 people that owned batmobiles...i realize now that it might be just a scare tack tic in order to controll an area..although his wife confirmed all that he said.. All though i like AP he made it firm what to do with my car..

Tell me Chris....who are these mystery men/women?...why is there a cloud of secrecy around them as if they're some sort of secret agent,
do they not have names, do they not resemble you and me or are they simply shadows that walk amongst us forever to be known as The DC WB? If they have our names we should have theirs too. Think of all the replica brand items they may own or are wearing this very moment!

i dont think it much to worry about only time will tell i meet A. Prillo at a meet with his car and WB were their,i had lunchwith them ,i told them i had a Batmobile..i asked a lot of ?s.. and they told me that the car had to be 40% different and to keep the car in the shop and dont show it ..and they had a list of Bat owners thats what scared me ..but will see ... the way i see it ..i built mine its 40% ..so i layed low for a while but its hard so i came out with 10 karate kicking kids...

Oh see...nobody ever tells you you need a CANOE to build a Bat replica (as shown in above pic) and I thought all our builders were being open and honest with us!
