I was surprised to see so much interest in such a thing, as I figured it wouldn't fly for a second with everyone. I'm thinking AP is on to something here...I declare shenanigans, as well. It's quite odd that NO ONE here has really any recall of said kit. I was aware of Aurora, Imai and that's about it for 'officially licensed' stuff...of course, there are the garage variety, but this one isn't one... C'mon now...Fess up before Futurabat has a caniption trying to find one...

I used to see that model in pictures of George's batmobile collection. There's an old picture in Model and toy collector of a wall of those in GB's office. He might still have some of those, and you could get it signed to boot. I have also seen at at old toy shoys - like the one in toledo this weekend.

Mattel really ought to jump on this - standard 1/25, and a larger 1/12 or 1/8 scale - forget the 1/18 scale.

These days you can Photoshop anything together. For as long as we've been hanging around these haunts I can't believe nobody had ever heard of it. With my Holmes hat on and magnifying glass in hand, I have to agree with AP.

OK going out on a limb here, but since "CLEAR ALL EXITS" the original poster, previously showed us their "photoshop" skills with the new Message Board header banner and the new 10th Anniversary shield, I'm taking a wild guess that this World Of Wheels kit is a fantasy, if so a fantastic job, you fooled us! I could be wrong, if so please provide us with some other photos of this box and model.

Actually you can add me to the list of "Stumped" folks...now that I see the TNT Kit I realize it was the TNT kit I was thinking of that I had the chance to buy, not the WOW AMT kit.

So what do we have to do to see the kit inside one of those WOW AMT kits!?!?!?!

I have been searching every part of the web , yahoosearh and google, even ebay, NOTHIN! I mean nothing nowhere about nothing at all. However, I know the model kit industry and i'll lay my last dollar that this particular kit was a market tester that never got made. World of Wheels has been around since before the kit was supposedly made in 1975 right? I'm guessing, this was a limited run by AMT (who held the liscence on the Munsters cars at that time) for the World of Wheels...

I have a TnT Koach. I believe they're 1/16-1/18 scale. National Hobbies that used to be in Fridley, (I think it was,) MN had a TnT Batmobile, but I think they wanted $100 for it. I opted for a Miky Bat from Italy instead. (Which as 66BAT has, it's not built, yet.)

Still looking for a Dragula.
