			<description><![CDATA[ Keep in mind that when the Danbury Mint finally put out a batmobile, so did Polar Lights and Corgi in the same scale. Polar Lights did both a metal and plastic
kit. In addition, DC Direct had their own model. Mattel had an opportunity to make a kit from their model division - heck they already had the scans - but that
was a deal with Hot Wheels division. So Mattel blows it and opens the door for Polar Lights! ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I could be wrong, but I&#39;m not sure Mattel ever had an <em>exclusive</em> on obtaining a license to make 66 batmobile stuff.  They were just the first in a
long time to be able to get it worked out, but DC Direct also put out the ceramic light-up version a while back.  I don&#39;t think Mattel had anything to do
with that version.  I also don&#39;t know if Mattel has any connection with PL/Round 2.  If not, I&#39;d imagine that other companies can benefit from
Mattel&#39;s legwork in... ]]></description>
