BTW, I did let ONLY the Batman costumed kids (of which my son was <em>not</em> one) get their photo IN the car. I also handed out glossy 6x8 photos for the BIG
kids (adults) who wanted them.</p>

			<description><![CDATA[ My Son&#39;s school held its first &quot;Trunk n Treat&quot; whereby each parent decorates the trunk of their car and puts a bowl of candy and treats in the
car for the kids to parade by to snag their Halloween cache!

The weather was unseasonably mild this year, so I surprised everyone by driving my Bat to the school and putting the candy in the afterburner since most of the
little ones were unable to reach up/over the trunk.

			<description><![CDATA[ People loved seeing the car. One of the nicest compliments I had in the morning was words to the effect of &quot;I&#39;ve seen a bunch of shows, but THIS car
at this show made my year&quot;.

Everyone seemed to stop to chat about the Bat and were grinning ear to ear. But, since I was not in a judged class, they were busy about the Bugatti&#39;s and
the fashion show etc. etc. Many came by a 2nd time to get photos they didn&#39;t snap the first time.

  Here&#39;s a few photos from the show. Most Concours shows do not have a class for any Batmobile, let alone my replica---------since it&#39;s in a class of
  its own!

  The beauty for me, other than the weather, was the phenomenal cars in attendance at a historical race grounds where the track dirt is literally sacred.
  <br>
  No one touches the track dirt except horses &amp; jockeys. So, they have a 50 yard underground tunnel to facilitate traffic to the manicured infield... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ The latest repair issue for my car proved to be an alternator internal rectifier that came loose inside the alternator and fell down onto the stator
(armature?) and created an overheat surge that melted the wiring. New Alternator and double-checked tightly secure rectifier resolved the problem.

One other consequence that happened when the Bat was being loaded from the breakdown location is one of the boards I use to drive the car onto my Tonka shot

The rest are all otherwise very cumbersome replicas at times. If you think of your Batmobile replica as a &quot;glorified kit car&quot; it helps you keep
perspective that much like any other car on the road, they too have maintenance woes of their own.

Right now I still need to replace one flasher for the sidelights and constant detailing-------black shows everything! ]]></description>
