Let me tell everyone a little about myself first.
My name is Mike or Michael whichever people prefer. I live and was born in New Jersey, I'm 51 years old, married with two small children, a girl and boy. For the past 22 years, I serve the city my wife and I were born in as a professional fire captain. I started out in life, and still work, as an auto mechanic. I have owned several service stations. Currently I have a detached garage about 2000 sf in the rear of my home that serves as my work shop. Or as my wife would call it, Michael's toy box. I have everything in there I need to perform any kind of repair, or in this case (I hope) any kind of build. Also I have worked for Lincoln Mercury, and owned quit a few of them so if anyone has a mechanical problem please let me know and i will solve it for you.
In June of last year I made the decision to build my very own batmobile, so I began looking for a donor car. I found one in Massachucetts, from ebay. I drove up there with my car trailer in tow and took home a very nice 1979 Lincoln town car. Georgia car originally
Shortly after that I ordered a stage three kit from Doug Hines. My kit he said would be ready by January. So this past Oct. I began taking the body off the chassis. Below I will post pictures of my progress, beginning with taking off the body.
I got a call from Doug last week and my kit will be ready for January 17, with car trailer in tow I will bring it back to New Jersey and my batmobile. I will be posting pictures of me picking it up at Doug's shop as well as it sitting in my shop.
I would like to thank Eric for this great site and all the great people and their wealth of knowledge. Also thanx Mark Racop, Johnb88, Bob Johnson, and Doctorbatman for taking my calls, and answering all of my question. I'm sure we will all be talking more.
I have a 1965 VW that has been converted to a dune buggy, and also a 1969 pro street chevelle that makes about 1,000 horse power.
Below I'm going to try and post my pictures, please bare with me, so far I can only do one at a time.
Mike

Here is one more from me removing the body. Seven more days till I drive out and
meet Doug, his work force, & pick up my kit.
