I have been painting a lot of the details on my 1/18 Elite. So far I've done the dash lights, buttons, batram lever and detectascope. I've done the computer in the trunk, lights on the sides of the arch, painted the antler lights with clear red, various handles between the seats and under the arch and moved the bat phone. The only thing I'm having a hard time with is the stripes on the front of the hood. To those that have done this did you tape the area first (if so what type of tape) or just paint it free hand. I've tried the green painters tape but the paint gets under it making an ugly mess. Any tips?
