If you do build a Batmobile Vic it would have to have Tea cup holders and a bat Tea set in the boot.

In response to the KGB's photo shoot I thought I'd enlist my sister Dolly to add some glamour to my build site. As you will know from previous posts, she does have some modeling experience. Anyway, she was less than keen, as you can see by her reaction, so I'll shelve that idea for now. I put it down to artistic temperament.

Never mind Vic, you can have a ride in our Bat, if we ever get it built! Chipping Norton is not too far from Farnborough. The old Moggy was a good car anyway. We
Brits must stick together, that's why we love American cars, especially the 66 B/M; Frank.

Very unfair to stereotype the British. If my tea and crumpets weren't getting cold I'd have a lot more to say on the subject.

Hey Vic,
I'm still waiting to see you flash all of us some photos, of your Bat that is (and I mean of your Batmobile vehicle your are building). Don't want to get Eric's site pulled down off the Internet, if you know what I mean.

FANofBATS wrote: My plans for a scratch built bat based on the chassis of 'Daisy' my Morris Minor with an all new V8 block and a bitchin sound system, are currently on the Arch Bishop's desk awaiting his approval. A slight bone of contention are the rocket tubes, which he feels will send out the wrong impression of the church. If you remember, the Vatican omitted their inclusion on their Popemobile efforts, which in my opinion, failed to grasp the whole vibe of the '66 TV show and were more indicative of the Dark Knight 'Tumbler'. Still, each to their own. It was rumored that George Barris himself had tendered for the work and due to the short deadline, had planned to adapt the original Monkeemobile, which at that time, was taking up rather a lot of space in his shop. Please feel free to correct me if I have made any errors or omitted anything, most of my information was provided by the66popemobile.com, a site still in its infancy.
On a more serious note, A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY FELLOW BUILDERS AND EVERYONE ON THE '66 BATMOBILE WEBSITE! Vic |

Vic,
just slip a DVD of the 66 TV show under the Arch B's headress when he's at rest. I'm sure he'll come around and see clear how important it is for a Vicar of your stature to be a vital representative for his Holiness while driving Your Bat Mini over the hills and through the boroughs of Chipping Norton!

I'm sure everyone is wondering why my thread has been so quiet but at this stage, I have little to report.
