Correct...I was referring to the first 3 Batmobile statues issued by DC direct. The batteries are in the statue base, and the connections are in the pegs
in the base that insert into the tires of the Batmobiles. If the cars are taken off the base, they can't "light up", unlike the '66 statue
which has the batteries in the actual car portion of the statue.
The pre-order solicitations sent to dealers must have stated that there were going to be blueprints included, like the first 3 statues, but mine didn't have any. Did anyone else get them? Looks like a few things were changed from prototype to finished product. Also, I too thought I got a great price until I saw one go on Ebay a week or two later for $86.00.

Here are a few shots of the DC Direct car with the lights lit as well as the really nice box it comes in. And no, no blueprints in mine either. It is #924 of
1,300 according to the cert. of authenticity it comes with. The one side shot gives you a good idea of the 'quality' of the paint finish.

Not bad...but somethin looks funny about the antler lights..almost like they're on backwards... Definitely better price than what they originally went for

That is whacky-cheap! Less than half the retail price. And I thought BBTS had them cheap at $175.
