In my continued efforts for perfection on my scratch built 89 build I've added recessed steps for real grilles and interior perimeter drip rails for water etc..to the bodyshell
and a million other things...

now to add 'real grille' alumnum materials to the steps and not that stick on junk.

I peaked and 'crowned' the top panels with sharp crisp edges something the 89 movie car never had giving it IMO more class.
The entire length of the bottom leading edges have full length rolled belly pans that bolt the body to the floorpan providing a weather tight seal and giving the underside a clean uncluttered look so no exhaust etc can be seen....just like the 1/18th model:) These details and the complete perimeter interior drip rail took hundreds of hours in tedious labor alone not counting making the whole body and plug etc (another 1000 plus hours) until perfected.

Time for me to get back on my 66 build. I plan to modify my tube chassis quite a lot hence I had it built minus any sort of center structural section
that may get in the way of my Lincoln floor pan. Many many more build pics to follow.
