Don't get me wrong, I realize there is a TON of work involved converting the Black Beauty---but you know what I mean, to be able to buy an actual car as the bulk of the vehicle and then add on some fiberglass parts, I think a lot more of us would have Batmobiles by now! Cool pics of the transformation!

I told Bob years ago not to buy the molds but he had to have them. I spent a lot of time making improvements on the molds to make them closer to the real car. The car in the pictures is the modified ones.

Posts: 1069 (11/25/08 4:37 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	I dont see any new changes in the BB molds either, every opening, corner and or recess is off thats one reason why I didnt think the fiberglass kits were worth their salt....but they did provide me with basic outlines to make perfect BB kits in steel should anyone ever ask for less than it would take to do all the finish work on a 'glass kit. I used an existing tank and cut 8" out of the center and tacked it back together. This way I can keep the rear area open for a back seat.

I think it only holds 10 gallons after it was cut; the biggest problem is there is little room back there with the burner section and the slope of the trunk lid.
