I was at Bobs house this weekend and took some pictures of his 66, Black Beauty and Daytona Spider. The 66 is running and drivable with a fully rebuilt motor. Using the door window regulator motors opens the hood and trunk. All the upholstery is complete and awaiting final paint. The doors still need to be hung and dash needs to be built. A custom radiator was built by the same guy that built the KGBs radiator. The burner can and components came from Mark Raycop, sweet. Sammy was in country and I was able to talk to him. He donated all the interior props and gadgets for Bobs car. Sammy was nice enough to give me a few props for my car with some wonderful pictures. Thanks Sammy for all you have done for Bob and myself.

Hello All,
I just wanted to say thank you for all of the kind comments in reference to my build. It sincerely means a lot coming from such a talented group of people such as yourselves. Its taken me a little longer than I expected, but along with my pal Kevin" Nodeman" and I getting the body as perfect as possible for molding, making the molds, my full-time work in law enforcement, getting married, moving, getting my Black Beauty about 80 % complete, then switching gears back to my Batmobile, its taken awhile, but I have made good friends along the way, many of you from this board, with constant inspiration from my good friend John Brown, and from watching your builds! I had communication with Samy Huven today, and I will be seeing him next month so if anyone would like me to pass anything along to him, post a question. HAVE A HAPPY AND SAFE 4TH OF JULY!!!!!!! |

Looking great! I don't know what it is, but I've always been partial to the butts style bodies. Maybe because I've had the chance to ride in one
or because it's what I'm used to. who knows.
I'm not bashing any one kit. I love them all. I just really like a butts body. |
