Two weeks of rain......and now a few days of sun.......but wow is it ever HOT......nothing like the high humidty to go along with that !! I just got back from
a drive this morning, now it's back in the garage well before noon and 90 degree temps !! Phew......get me a cold one !

Had the car out for a short ride early this morning before it got unbearably hot......maybe I'll get another drive this evening if thunderstorms dont linger. Oh......, it was waxed again 2 weeks ago....thats twice now since owning it ! |

Can someone please send some cooler weather down here.......I'm grateful there has been no threat of a hurricane so far this season, but the heat and rain
has been something else !!
Well here it is Oct 6th, the weather is going to be hot again all week , and todays temp will hit.... 93! ....with 90's all week ! I only got the car out for a drive once in the past two weeks........I sure hope it cools down by halloween !

Sheesh....they just said on the radio on my way home from work tonight that we will probably see SNOW Friday up here!
Haven't seen many pics of your car (or the hot weather maidens that like to look at it) this season, have you been able to drive it as much as past seasons overall? |

Hey guys,
Yep, it's been a long hot summer, so I havent been driving as much as in past summers. When I first got the car I would drive everyday I could.....in the hot weather I would get home clothes soaked in sweat, now I dont really want to do that . I've been doing morning bike rides, trying to keep in better shape since retiring, and pollute less. .....the 75 Lincoln is not what you could call a "green car " LOL. I did have an event scheduled a couple months back, but it was cancelled at the last minute. My brother didnt make it down from Alaska for his usual winter visit, so I didnt have the onboard photographer as past years when all the tourists are out ....thats when the photos are best, but during our summer March to Nov, things are pretty quiet and most folks are indoors. Today it's probably going to hit around 91-93 degrees, and time best spent will be in the pool ( after I cut the grass ). When it cools down in a few weeks I'll be out again at the beaches, but for now only a qwick drive in the eve's but not much photo ops. There is a local show in Nov that attracts about 700 cars...no kidding...I was there last year...so weather permitting I plan to go back again since it is only 6 miles from the house. The car was recently waxed , I think that was labor day, and I installed a new electric cooling fan on the radiator . The car looks great and is ready to roll., so please send some of that cool weather this way and I'll send the warm stuff up there! |

As requested.....36 degrees with a high of 38 expected today (10-10-09) and we also got a fresh coat of SNOW this morning as well, with several more days of it
predicted for this coming week, so here ya go, ENJOY! (Waiting patiently now for warm weather Batmobile and Hottie pics in return
  )
As you can see, we haven't even fully gone through our fall color change, and all those leaves you see on the trees are normally brown and on the ground
before the first snow, so there's going to be a LOT of us cold country folks depending on the warm country Batmobiles to pull us through the LONG cold
season!

That does look wierd to have the snow on the ground and the leaves still green !! Great photo ! Lets hope it's not a sign of things to come up
there.....no-one needs a brutally cold winter !
I was hoping to drive yesterday Sunday, but again it was so darn hot. I did an early morning bike ride of about 16 miles and then went right into the pool to cool down . I think we have cooler weather heading down here at the end of this week,,,,,,,,,by cooler I mean about mid 80's in the daytime......low 70's at night, MAYBE a low in the high 60's at night , and lower humidity. The really cold stuff, with night time 40s and 50's for lows doesnt get here until Jan and Feb. Global warming is only down here, it's not up at your houses ! They should rename it " State by State Warming " LOL |

O.K. Steve it's been a long time... but I think it's about time that we see some babes in bikini's, next your car. and if need be just babe's.
