Watkins Glen NY July 4th with Mike Andritti,,and Erik Estrada...these car's will be making a "Day BU" so come and spend some time with The
Stars,,,we will be right there with them ,,,come and megle with the stars at our table....we need a Batman ,,and Villians,, ...

Congratulations Anthony she is a beauty! I LOVE the seats and the liberties you took on them. The center console looks nice too wrapped in leather. Show us
more + the engine, etc.
So have you "lit it up" yet? Not the turbine the tires!

Jeff and I went on a test drive. We hit 100 ( very quickly) when we ran out of road. We also blew out ps pump( bushing was bad on a new MArch pump). The car
flys..... The airsuspension was fantastic, the car was rock solid with absolutely no suspension noise whatsoever. Total silence except for the motor. Brakes
also great. I am thrilled with this car. Feels like a new car.
We will be at Watkins Glen with Erik Estrada this weekend. I will post photos when I get back. George may be in New York in September, I can not wait to show him!!! |

Congrats to you Anthony. Love your personal liberties with the interior. Very Sexy/Racey. You'll have to be the first to show the Bat doing a REAL burnout with billowing white clouds of smoke as you mercilously tear into that rubber! (F.Y.I.------be sure your rolltop dash doors are closed; When I did mine, they all slammed shut simultaneously and scared the hell out of me) |

The car looks great, can't wait to see and hear it on video soemday.
I gotta ask though......what's with the skinny tires in the back??!! I mean, they are fine for any other replica, but with a motor like this one has I was really hoping for a bit more drag tire look in the rear. Any plans to upgrade them? Is there tub clearance for meatier tires? Those skinny rears won't last long with the burnout capabilities this car should have!

Dan, there isn't room for larger wheels with all of his equipment: stereo, navigation, satellite radio, second battery, air compressor, air tank,
pistons, ratcheting cable gear shifter, horntunes horn, tire inflation monitors, backup assist camera--just to name a few of the specialty items in
Anthony's car. We joked the whole time during his build about needing a trailer for all of the extra goodies he wanted!

Well first to say the car made its day bu at Watkins Glen RACEWAY TODAY WITH Erik Estrada and it went over great the shiny tires are cause he will never drive
it just on and off trailer and in a parade or something the 750hp engine ran great the guys in the pits loved it and --thats all i can say i think its one
Marks best builds yet---i personal didnt take any pictures with Erik,,,so we will see about posting some by other people ,,,i was to busy taken pictures for
Erik and trying to keep the people away,,,i cant say enough about this build it is aaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuusome.......im making a lot of changes to my built after
see the things like Barris Plac's are indented into the body tomorrow ill try to get some pic's Erik is gone so ill have time to play instead of work
,,,just a little....Mark R thanks ill steal some inovations from you...LOL

well.....he built it, so he's certainly entitled to make a 700+hp trailer queen if he wants to, I won't knock him for that.......
....but man what a shame, many guys like me spending their whole lives trying to scratch up the $$ to build such a motor in ANY car.....I just have to say it is a bit of a let down to hear it's more of a trophy that a driver. I was really excited to follow this car's journeys in the future with that kind of horsepower in a Batmobile. (FINALLY!!) Maybe we can hope for the occasional exhibition run or something at an event or show at least???? |
