I was only 5 or 6 but I can clearly remember getting a signed 8x10 photo of the Catwoman, she even gave me a kiss on the cheek., then a guard or somebody (can't recall) pulled me over the red ropes and sat me in the front of the '66 batmobile. I thought I died and went to heaven or something. It was the holiday's (Christmas time back then as it was called) and for that Christmas I got the Mego batmobile under the tree that year. It fascinates me, I sit and stare at it for hours.

Seeing the 2 boats there all original kinda pains me a bit to think of them being converted to Batboats......I mean, they are "kinda" like the Futura, only a few survive anymore, and here's a pair fated for the chopping block..... But then again I don't know any 60's glastron collectors so what the heck, chop away! Since the supply of correct original Glastron's must be seriously limited, do you just plan a couple customs or maybe make your own hulls at some point instead of locating actual donor boats? You could probably make molds and then produce a "show only" boat that is non functional but has all the look and detail so it looks great on the trailer for showing---and the price might be way cheaper than a custom actual boat eh? Well whatever you do keep us posted, very cool!
