The 59 El Camino's have a "Batmobile-like" appeal to me, 68-9 AMX, most of the Mopar muscle family, and a bunch of vintage Ford trucks. I'd take a 34 Ford 3-window coupe if I had to.......

I own every appearance of Batman in any comic, dating back to 1977 when I graduated from high school. I also collect magic tricks and novelties. What is your favorite car(s) besides the '66 Batmobile? The Black Beauty and the Monkeemobile because of the huge impact they made on me as a kid in the late 60's. And anything else you care to share? Until I found this board (and others like it, although this is my favorite), I had spent the last 30 years trying to figure out how to fabricate a Batmobile from scratch, like welding sheetmetal onto an early 60's Thunderbird or something like that. I never new that molds and kits and replicas even existed. But most importantly, I found out I'm not the only one like me! I'd like to thank you all for sharing all of your stories, information and photos...

We have 2 little girls and we all live in Akron, Ohio. I am a bartender by trade, and I have no intention of ever doing anything else. Any time that I work with another bartender that's shorter than me, I get all of our customers to call us "Batman and Robin". I'm 6'2", so I always get to be Batman. I was a musician as a younger man, and I have developed a few wood-working skills, so I like to collect and restore old guitars. Mainly Gibson archtops. Besides the Batmobile, I love Chrysler 300 convertibles form the 60's. Tough to tune those tricky MOPAR engines, but when you do they make beautiful music. I'm the idiot that originally photographed the molds on top of Barris' roof and posted the pictures here. I still don't know if I should have done that or not, but it made me a part of this little internet community, and I have looked foreward to checking this board out daily ever since.

I have been quite contentedly married for 17 years. We have 2 boys ages 12 & 14, and 2 big labradors. Currently, we live in Kalamazoo, MI, of all places. My profession is in television production, but currently I am playing the role of Mrs. Cleaver. I collect nothing other than the assorted and worthless junk that keeps me young. Anything from t-shirts to rocket models (my two most recent ebay finds.) I play rock and roll drums as a hobby. Alice Cooper is my all time favorite performer, to those who care. My all time favorite production car is the 1959 Chevy Impala. Soon, I hope to have one in the garage. Other than that, Let me just say that this is my first and most favorite stop in ALL of web-land. Way to go, Eric!
