I'm new to the board so it looked like this was the place to introduce myself. Name is Grant age 41 Married 2 boys 12 and 15 I have restored,(mostly)old Fords since I was little I collect as well. Have 3 stangs,3 Galaxies,56 Ford pickup,78 Crysler new yorker. Around 100 Tamiya Radio control cars and trucks. Colect also, HO scale aurora slot cars. Fly electric and nitro helicoptors. fairly big collection of Bat things, mostly haveing to do with the car Soon to bring home my all time favorite,love to have it but never gonna,dream come true 1:1 1966 Batcar! have small colection of schwinns,1 orange crate and one cotton picker then a few more others. Thats about it, feel free to ask questions

Most of us are in our 40's I've noticed Married wife have 3 kids and one cat. I come from a land down under. Am a hardware guy. Not a real collector,just a bit of superhero stuff. There is no other favorite car in my life. Look a bit like "comic book guy" from the Simpsons.

I've been lurking for a few weeks and found everything I needed, and found the world of 1:1 replicias too. I made the trip to Fiberglass Freeks a couple of weeks ago, these cars are just TOO COOL!!

I'm Steve 41 years old Married with 4 kids, 3 cats, 1 dog and 2 Bearded Dragons I'm a youth pastor I've always loved the batmobile. 10 years ago I bought a resin kit but wasn't up for the challenge. My modeling skills have improved, and due largely to a friendship with a handicapped man who loves everything batman, I pulled out the resin. Then, as fate would have it, Mattel lit it all up again! So, while working on the resin, I took a little break and did this to one of the 1:64 Hotwheels. Here's where I'm at with the resin..

Too dramatic? Maybe just a little, anyway, just like all the guys on this board, I have always been mesmorized by the awesome vehicle. Its stance, its appearance, the Batmobile. I've been watching and reading the ups and downs (mostly ups) of this board for years. Wow, what a ride! Fantasizing of owning a magnificent copy of our favorite car, bar none. When I was in elementary school you proved your worth by drawing either the Enterprise or the Batmobile. I could draw both but I had a hard time with the front of the batmobile. I look forward to owning the 1/18 elite so I can get it exactly right. And anything else you care to share? I don't own a batmobile but, on my birthday a couple of years ago, my wife did get me Batman floormats for my Saturn. It's red. It's a Saturn, but it's got Batman floormats.
