Thank you Hobbybuilder01... yes it's two pleasures in one !
Hy Dave, I hope this is the right "Ford" blue... I have to find out the exact position of the engine in relation to the center of the front wheel ! I do have a good idea if I look at the Lincoln original plan of the Mark II, but the engine has now an angle so it has been moved into the back of the body or maybe not ? I need the relative position of the V8 before I fix the front supports and gives the exact angle to it !!! The temporary transmission support will be replace by two side supports like it is supposed to be, right now it is way to high. If someone has an idea it will be welcome. JC Tech...

Hello Dave,
The wheels are connected and rolling with the engine, transmission is working fine no glitch. The material I used is light aluminium tube. I think the engine block has the good position and angle now. Next step is the extention of the rear end and the addition of the gas tank, also fabricating the exaust pipes and mufflers... Talk to you later, JC Tech...

Nicely done | ||

Hi JC, It's getting dressed to kill each an every picture so to speak.
You may have to reajust the engige angle and height once the body will sit on the frame but shouldn't be no big task then. The impeller is way much better. I didn't got much further on my Bat-things last week but should get back on right away soon. Keep the good work David |

Hi JC,
Here's what I've done to get the rear deck started. A real fun to achieve since it's curved on all sides and axis exept the area where the fin will sit, it has to be flat and curved on one axis and just in the middle. What a pleasure I jacked, shimed and sliced.... I tried everything to get it right the......second time I don't know how yet but the cargo doors and latches will be fully fonctionnal, they have to... you should see what I planned to put into those cargobays.... Like pure genuine crime fighing devices !?!?!? Shwwiiiinnnng!!!!! |

Dave-
It looks great. Curious...where are you getting your measurements? Are you just eyeballing it or have some type of blueprints? |
|||

Put it on a Ritz.... | ||

Hi folks this is a first try out of the tail frame... of course the other half is gonna be done rapidly since the template is done also and
seams to respond as I intended.
To answer Eric's questionning... Lets say that I have good plugs with former designer of Glastron engineering. The info provided is beamed on the technical data of the time and also coming from calculations to get the right proportions from his private photo collection. It's quite effective and precise to reach a good weight and balance for a quarter scale 'cause these numbers are from a full scale V174 SS. But a lot of maths are involved to get it right at this level especially the Bat version of that boat since there is nothing left of it... BUT we will get there anyway... Hey JC ? Keep following and throw all your comments folks ! Who knows you might help me with data that I still don't have ? Dave |

Being a longtime model-builder (actually, starter), I am extreme impressed with you constant progress we continue to see on it. I've never tried something
as large as 1/4 scale, but know it must not make the job of creating something from nothing any less challenging.
Great job! Please keep us informed and updated.

Love how you guys are sharing this thread. Hope you both are okay with it, otherwise we could split it up?
Had this image I saved from an old eBay auction. Sorry it's the best I got!

I may have chimed in here already... | ||

...but wether or not I have I have to say...POW, BIFF, ZOK, BLAMMO!!! I have been watching the progress of this thread from the getgo and have rarely been this impressed. The planning and insight into these projects are only exceeded by the execution. I for one can't wait to see the finished items. I know that's merely the first shout in a long echo, we ALL want to see it.
