Teacup requested - here is a pic of Adam West and myself at Tiki (the same as my avatar). He had been having back troubles and was a bit medicated the first day - this was the 2nd day. He was quite friendly, and looks to be in great shape - not looking like the 80 yr old chap that he is... As most who attended have said - all of the Bat-Celebs (actually, ALL of the celebs) were most gracious and friendly. The charged amount for autographs was my only complaint, really... Great to see them all though!

You're right he doesn't look 80. He seems like a great guy, self effacing with a good sense of humour. I would have liked to have seen him cameo in one of the later films, but I guess they take themselves a little to seriously for that sort of thing. I hope he's still posing with batmobiles when he's 100.

Burt Ward and Adam West were at Jake Sweeney Chevrolet in Springdale,Ohio. I had to of been only 6 or 7. That would of made it 1968 or 69. I remember Adam West saying," Robin was having trouble getting his Utility Belt on" as he did not come out the same time as Adam West, to sign autographs. But you want to talk about Medicated ! I can remember telling my Mom he smelled like Dad ! Whiskey Breath ! Yew ! Anyway I got to stay home from school that day and watch them on T.V. They were on the Bob Braun Show out of Cincy.

He was having problems with his back then too (would be about 3 years back) and the medication made his eyes sensitive to light hence the shades. but still, I was lucky enough to meet THE BATMAN that for many years I believed to be the definitive version. It's just a shame that as my wife took the photo, some person behind her jogged the camera It is the things that I do that define me.....
