For those in the area, there are four new 1:18 scale 1966 Batmobiles on the shelf. $39.99 each. I am not very familiar with the different versions but a copyright date on the box is 2007. Yesterday I had my taxes done and the shock of the condition of my current finances has knocked me down a couple pegs. Two weeks ago I would have picked one up but will have to pass on it for now. Anyway, the economy is bad over here and at $39.99 I think they will be on the shelves for a little while. Just thought that area Batfans may be interested. Posts: 818 (04/15/09 7:55 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	The thing with TRU is...they don't seem to care that you can get the 1:18 on Amazon for $23.99...and if you throw in some little thing (spatula or something cheap), you get FREE shipping....(just has to add up to $25...)...so, at $39.99...TRU can choke on them. The only thing I'll say in TRU's defense is - locally, they're the ONLY vendor who had any wave 2 1:50 stuff...but even that is $1.50 more than Wally World would have it...if they had it...

When I finally found my Batboats they were about $7.99 at TRU. Comparable BatVehicles at other stores, including the Batcycle, were around $6.97 at other places. Didn't bother checking the price but it's probably same as whatever's online.

Checked the item on the price scanner and it came up at the $14.99 sale price. I am lucky they didn't advertise the sale or it might of been long gone before I got there.
