In case anyone is still looking for the series 2 batmobile w/the trailer hitch, TRU online has them for $8. They also have the camo tumbler.

I saw a number of pieces from the latest release hanging at the local TRU, including a hitched Batmobile. I'm beginning to wonder if the one 'rare'
piece from this whole thing will be the non-hitch car as they are no longer in production and people are already starting to look hard for them?

I never checked, but look to see if toysrus.com ships to Canada for a reasonable price--they still have the trailer hitch batmobile in stock as I type this.

Looks like toybuzcar on ebay now has the case K, which includes the Batwing from the '89 movie and the batpod from the DK movie. Also has 2 66 cars w/the
hitch and one each of the boat and batcycle, and also a camo tumbler and an animated series car. Time to start watching the TRU shelves again for those still
looking for these.
update: more series 2 1/50 stuff is on toysrus.com as well--trailer hitch 66, batcycle, superfriends, camo tumbler, keaton car.

Feel free to post the pics here. I'm pretty sure someone had posted a link to a page w/a whole bunch of upcoming stuff back in the summer before the 1/12 batcycle was released, and it may have included the 1/50 penguin version of the batmobile. I can't remember which thread or which convention the page was from. |

ToysRUs alert!! The toysrus.com website has more 1/50 vehicles available in stock for $7.99!
They had the following still in stock a few minutes ago: 66 Batcycle (search "batcycle" the others you can just search "1/50") 66 Batboat (!!)--never saw any online before 89 Batwing Camo Tumbler (easy to find it at any TRU store if you don't want to pay shipping) Unfortunately they already ran out of the Batpod (must have sold out very fast because they weren't listed when I checked early yesterday), and they are also out of the trailer hitch 66 batmobiles. I guess scalpers are keeping a close watch on the site. Good luck!! I already placed my order for the Batwing. |

Hey thanks for the heads up on the Toys R Us deal....I have been STRUGGLING to find ANY (and I found NONE to date) Batboats, never liked any prices I could
find on ebay, and even passed on the Toys R us deal when you first posted because with shipping & tax it was $13 and change....I was determined to find one
at a store for $6.99-$7.00.
But then I checked ebay one last time and my local stores.....nothing on the pegs and high web prices, plus high shipping is all I found so I just ordered one from TRU tonight (Friday 11-6-09) and they still have them in stock in case anybody else is ready to break down and pay double retail (but less than scalper/vultures charge!). I cringe to think what I will have to pay for a 1:87, and I wanted a small fleet of them for some train layout ideas I had. Too bad members of this board can't buy a limited supply of each release direct from mattel....(HINT-HINT MATTEL) |

I hear ya--hit the stores looking for the batpod today and found only a million camo tumbers at every store and almost nothing else. I ordered 3 batwings at
$8 each plus tax and shipping and the grand total came out to just over $10 apiece. It's more worth it if you're getting a few rather than just one.
update 11/9: They still have 1/50 batboats, trailer hitch 66 cars and 66 batcycles in stock on toysrus.com today. Anyone still interested in the 1/50 vehicles should keep a close eye--I managed to get 2 bat pods yesterday before they ran out again (I guess either someone cancelled an order, or they managed to get a little more stock sometime yesterday). They are out of the batwing now also.

Looks like HW is starting to roll out the 1/50 line a little quicker lately--I see a couple of sellers now have the 1/50 animated series car with battle damage
(bullet holes in the side are all I can see in pics so far).
