We will be giving away a brand new test shot right here on the Batmobile message board. All you have to do to qualify is post a response to this thread.
On Friday December 10th at 4:00pm est I will print off the thread and cut apart each entry and do a blind drawing for a winner. You can only register once. If I see a second entry by one person, I will delete it. If I see more than a second entry by one person, that person will be disqualified. Please do not post to this thread more than once. If you want to start a discussion about the drawing, please start another thread. Once the winner is named, I'll send them a pm to get their shipping info and the kit will be sent free of charge.
The winner is expected to assemble the kit within a reasonable amount of time and post comments about the kit on this message board. It will be up to the winner as to how much energy he wants to put into his build. If he wants to build it "straight out of the box", that's fine. If he wants to paint it and concentrate on the details, that's fine too. The kit will not come with decals or decoration. Posting pictures of the parts and finished build will be required. It will be up to the winner to decide whether to take work in progress pics as well. By entering into the drawing, you are accepting the responsibility to remark about the test shot for everyone's benefit.
There will be flaws in the kit. This is the very first test shot and adjustments to the tool are expected. These adjustments will pertain to fit and assembly and the overall quality of the injection.
UPDATE:
The test shots just arrived. Though I haven't sorted out everything yet, we do have everything for both the glue and snap kits. So we will draw a second name to receive the glue kit. Good luck.
At this point I believe I am only receiving test shots of the snap version of the kit. However, if I do get test shots of the glue kit at the same time, I will draw a second name to receive that kit. If I don't receive the glue test shot, I may decide to do a second call for entries whenever it arrives.
