The KnightBat 1:18 |
Lead | |
|
AS SEEN ON EBAY... To answer some questions on a former post from "Scooter". This collaborative effort between the U.S.A. and abroad, SD Productions, is based on the typical 1/25 TV Style Batmobile which can be noted by it's distinctive front end. It's really a "work in progress" model kit as new features and upgrades will be added at different intervals. Optional real rubber tires including two-tone "bright" and "brushed" "real chromed" metal radir style wheels have just become available for it at this time. One of the newest features which will be finished this week is an elaborate "remote control lighting system" that is designed as a single unit which will make it super easy to install and will enable a variety of different lighting options from across the room. The KnightBat 1:18 was designed for the entry level builder right up to the professional modelers who were looking for a larger scale to work with.

Extemely clean castings, as we've come to expect from "abroad".
I just got one and I can't wait to start it. However, this lighting set peaks my interest... Please let me know when these are available and how much. I don't mind the resin wheels, as they look just fine painted up. All in all, a very exciting new Batmobile model in the larger, popular 1:18 scale. Best of luck with them! Chop

Will JUST the lighting kit be avalible?I already have an 1/18th kit.And I agree with Chopper,resin wheels don't bother me either,I'm not THAT picky and I don't plan on playing with it.

Yes, I believe so... that the remote control lighting unit could be sold by itself. I'll try to get more information in the next week or two.

Go to Ebay and click on the "Site Map" that will take you to a list... find "Model Kits" , click on that and type in "Batmobile" in the blank white box to the left of "Model Kits" and look down the list for the current auction of the KnightBat 1:18!
There is a description, model kits parts photo, comparison with a 1/25 Batmobile and the built pics of the vehicle. GIINK |

1/18 scale Knightbat | ||

Chopper built one of these for me - wow, the scale is great, especially up against the Batman Begins Tumbler. Nice work.

I'll also be building these as a "Kustom" to start. Fully built up and ready for sale... no waiting period. Not sure right now if they will actually be sold in kit form. That always depends on the demand.

1/6 Scale Batcycle for 12" Figures | ||

Thanks, it's good to be back. I have been checking out the 1/4 scale Batmobile thread and it's simply amazing. I'm a little rusty at posting pics
but the one above I posted to show my new 1/6 scale Batcycle! Those are 12" figures riding in it...
